Families with Pride celebrates and uplifts LGBTQ+ families and allies, creating a safe joyful space where all families are seen, supported and celebrated. Hosted by Harris County Attorney Abbie Kamin in partnership with The Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce.

Sarofim Picnic Lawn
The Sarofim Picnic Lawn is a wide-open lawn space that is perfect for more than just a picnic. The Lawn is near the John P. McGovern Playground, the Mist Tree, and the Kinder Large Dog and the Harriet and Joe Foster Dog Runs, making it a perfect place for family get-togethers, such as reunions or birthday parties. The Lawn can also accommodate small private corporate events or client receptions. The Lawn has two permanent picnic tables, and borders the Andrea and Bill White Promenade.
