A magical night of ballet folklorico and Mariachis

Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Mexico with the internationally touring group of mariachis and ballet folklorico dancers: México en el Corazón.
During the event local Top Chef finalist, Evelyn Garcia, will “takeover” the Lake House to serve a special, one-time only menu commemorating the night.
More than 65 performers create a magical night with gorgeous costumes, music and culture. A completely revamped performance provides the perfect opportunity to make new memories at this popular yearly event.
The new Mexican Consul General, Maria Elena Orantes Lopez, will lead a reenactment of El Grito, which commemorates Mexican Independence Day.
The tour is organized by the North American Institute for Mexican Advancement and supported by Univision.
Discovery Green will have a screen set up on the Jones Lawn to allow for additional viewing areas. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for their comfort.

Torta de Pollo — Curry mole chicken, crema, cabbage, queso fresco, fresh onion
Elote — Queso fresco, red curry aioli, pickled red onion, cilantro, garlic chili oil
Tostada — Braised brisket, five spice BBQ, herb slaw, turmeric aioli, radish
Rice Pudding — Ube foam, sweet red bean, toasted coconut, black sesame

Más de 60 artistas crean una noche mágica con magníficos trajes, música y cultura. Una actuación completamente renovada ofrece la oportunidad perfecta para crear nuevos recuerdos en este popular acontecimiento anual al que asisten miles de personas.
Durante el evento, la finalista local de Top Chef, Evelyn García, “tomará el control” de Lake House para servir un menú especial único que conmemora la noche.
La gira está organizada por el Instituto Norteamericano para el Avance de México y cuenta con el apoyo de Univisión como patrocinador oficial de los medios de comunicación.
