Glide beneath the glittering lights of downtown Houston and discover the holiday magic on Green Mountain Energy presents Ice at Discovery Green!
- Skaters must sign a waiver online after purchasing tickets. E-tickets will not be sent until the waiver is completed.
- All skaters must have pre-purchased ticket to enter the venue. (Skating guests under the age of 12 may have a parent or guardian accompany them.)
- Tickets are available online only. Please purchase a ticket before paying for parking.

Hours of operations
Monday – Thursday 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Fridays 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Saturday & HISD School Holidays* 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Sunday 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Martin Luther King Day (Jan. 19) 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
*HISD School Holidays are (Jan. 19; Feb 13 & 16)
Tickets
Regular Admissions:
Inclusive Skating:
$18 plus tax (includes skates, for 75 minutes).
PLEASE NOTE: All tickets with the exception of inclusive skater nights must be purchased online. Tickets for general admission will not be available for purchase at the ice rink will-call window. Inclusive Skater night tickets however will be available for purchase at the window the night of. Bumper Car tickets can be purchased here.

Non-motorized wheelchairs are always welcome on the rink. Guests in wheelchairs are asked to bring a responsible adult to accompany them. On Special Skaters Sunday Nights, the rink is reserved for skaters with special physical or developmental challenges to enjoy the rink. For more information visit discoverygreen.com/inclusiveskaters
Ticket sales support Discovery Green Conservancy, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that depends on the generosity of park visitors and other friends to maintain the park and to fund free events held here every year.
The ice rink may be closed or delayed at times due to weather conditions. Check www.discoverygreen.com for closures and other delays. Guests holding tickets will be notified via email and their tickets refunded if weather closures are necessary at their reserved times.
Green Mountain Energy Discounts
Employees and customers receive $2 discount. Proof of current billing or employee identification required for entry.
HAR.com Discounts
Customers and employees receive $2 discount. Proof of customer card, billing or employee identification required for entry.
First responders & Military
Receive $2 discount for up to 5 people; must show valid I.D.
