The Rink: Rolling at Discovery Green will be open every day February 9 through March 31.

- Skaters must sign a waiver online after purchasing tickets. E-tickets will not be sent until the waiver is completed.
- All skaters must have a pre-purchased ticket to enter the venue. (Skating guests under the age of 12 may have a parent or guardian accompany them.)

Hours of operations
Monday – Friday: 5-10 pm (Fridays open until 11pm)
Saturday & HISD School Holidays*: 11 am-11 pm
Sunday: 11 am – 8 pm
Thanksgiving Day: 11 am – 11 pm
Christmas & New Year’s Eve: 11 am-7 pm
Christmas & New Year’s Day: 1-7 pm
Martin Luther King Day: 11 am – 10 pm
*HISD school holidays include: Nov. 20-24; Dec. 25-29; Jan. 1-5, 8 & 15
On Nov. 19, Dec. 17 and Jan. 21, the rink will close to the public at 5 pm and at 4 pm on Dec. 10. The last ticket sales are at 3:30 pm. The rink will open at 6 pm on Dec. 12.
Tickets
Regular Admissions:
$17 admission (plus tax), skate rental included
Cheap Skate Mondays:
$8 (plus tax), skate rental included. (Select Mondays only. Nov. 13 & 27; Dec. 4, 11 & 18; Jan. 22)
Special Skaters:
Non-motorized wheelchairs are always welcome on the rink. Guests in wheelchairs are asked to bring a responsible adult to accompany them. On Special Skaters Sunday Nights, the rink is reserved for skaters with special physical or developmental challenges to enjoy the rink. For more information visit discoverygreen.com/specialskaters
Ticket sales support Discovery Green Conservancy, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that depends on the generosity of park visitors and other friends to maintain the park and to fund free events held here every year.
The ice rink may be closed or delayed at times due to weather conditions. Call 713.434.RINK (7465) for updates and check www.discoverygreen.com for closures and other delays. Guests holding tickets will be notified via email and their tickets refunded if weather closures are necessary at their reserved times.
DISCOUNTS: Discounted tickets must be purchased onsite. If desired time slot is full there may be a wait.
Green Mountain Energy Discounts
Employees and customers receive $2 discount. Proof of current billing or employee identification required for entry.
Bank of America Discounts
Customers and employees receive $2 discount. Proof of customer card, billing or employee identification required for entry.
First responders & Military
Receive $2 discount for up to 5 people; must show valid I.D.
Forever Green Members
Discovery Green members receive $2 discount. Proof of member card required for entry. Maximum 5 family members.
