Labyrinth at Discovery Green

Labyrinth at Discovery Green
When

April 10 - September 5

Discovery Labyrinth on view:
April 10 – September 5

Due to overwhelming demand the installation has been extended through Labor Day September 5

See how Houston artist Reginald C. Adams, with the help of community volunteers, created a labyrinth out of flowering plants on the Sarofim Picnic Lawn.

A labyrinth is an ancient ritual that connects the individual with the earth in a walking path to meditation and reflection. To use a labyrinth, one walks with focus and concentration, a circuitous path that winds around to reach the center of a large circle and then slowly retraces steps to reach the end of the meditation.

Reginald C Adams will return to guide another meditation and sound bath at the labyrinth.

As part of the International Day of Yoga celebration, Reginald C Adams led a meditation through the Labyrinth and Sound Bath at Discovery Green.
