Skating Rink
Ice Rink Events, a Houston-based designer, manufacturer, installer, and operator of ice rinks around the globe, transforms Kinder Lake’s model boat basin into a holiday skating destination each winter season at the park. The expanded rink uses equipment that runs on renewable energy and even the ice rink border is made from recycled plastic materials. Open Nov 11, 2022 – Jan 29, 2023. Monday – Friday: 5-10 pm (Fridays open until 11pm)
Saturday & HISD School Holidays*: 11 am-11 pm
Sunday: 11 am – 8 pm
Thanksgiving Day: 11 am – 11 pm
Christmas & New Year’s Eve: 11 am-7 pm
Christmas & New Year’s Day: 1-7 pm
*HISD school holidays include: Nov. 21-25; Dec. 22-30; Jan. 2-6 & 16
On Dec. 18 and Jan. 15 the rink will close to the public at 5 pm. The last ticket sales are at 3:30 pm
