Deep in the Heart: A Texas Music Series with Chaparelle with Rodell Duff and DJ Vinyl Ranch 

Celebrate the sounds of the Lone Star State during Discovery Green’s new Deep in the Heart Concert Series, a free weekly concert series showcasing the best of Texas artists. Spanning Americana, country, Tejano, indie rock, blues, folk and roots music, the series highlights the incredible depth and diversity of Texas musicians while creating a vibrant community gathering in the heart of downtown. 

Chaparelle 

In a harmonious union, Texas-based musicians Zella Day, Jesse Woods and Beau Bedford come together to reveal their highly anticipated collaboration, “Chaparelle”. Esteemed for their exceptional vocal prowess and celebrated contributions to their distinct genres, this partnership channels the enduring allure of Country music’s golden age, weaving a melodic narrative that resonates with themes of love and the indomitable Texan essence. 

Rodell Duff 

Born in Trinidad & Tobago and raised in Houston, Rodell Duff is the breath of fresh air listeners didn’t know they needed. His rootsy, effortless country-rock vibe connects Duff organically to his audience. His single “Wrecked” landed on Spotify’s notorious Hot Country playlist and propelled Duff into the public eye. His hit single “Good Days” has garnered well over 10M streams and helped Rodell win the 2026 Origins Music Award for Best New Artist. Rodell has several upcoming appearances and a new album on the way in early 2027.
