Scream on the Green

Scream on the Green is the annual free citywide Halloween celebration and costume contest at Discovery Green, offering the best Halloween party for the whole family. Adults, children, babies and even dogs are judged in the costume contests with best dressed winners going home with terrific prizes, including $250 IKEA Houston gift cards, tickets to The Ice at Discovery Green, or tickets to the Houston Grand Opera. Even pets can take home treats!

In previous years, thousands of Halloween-goers have enjoyed face painting, living statues, DJs and dancing, fortune tellers, caricature artists, mad science fun, magicians, and a featured Halloween themed movie.
