Against the backdrop of Houston's dramatic skyline, there is tremendous potential to make your event memorable. Several ideal locations at Discovery Green are available for private and public rentals. Event spaces can accommodate events from 15 up to 4,000 people.

With twelve acres across from the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston, Discovery Green will be an ideal location to host your corporate event, special occasion or children's birthday party.
 
 
Birthday Parties
Discovery Green is an ideal place for children’s birthday parties. Birthday parties or groups of 20 or more (including children and adults) must have a rented space in the park. The Stedman West Veranda (Area 5A) is available for rent between Tuesdays - Fridays only. This area is not available on weekends or holidays because the area is very crowded; however a portion of the Sarofim Picnic Lawn (Area 5B) is available for rent on weekends. The Event Planning Guide contains all the information you need to plan an event at
Discovery Green. Once you review the process and policies, please complete an Event Application and submit it to: gary@discoverygreen.com.


Photography and video shoots
Please note that all film, video and photo shoots to take place in Discovery Green require a permit. Download the permit here.
