Sunday Concert Series Featuring Make Music Day

Discovery Green is highlighting the best of Houston during this year’s summer of soccer. Enjoy a free concert in the heart of downtown with family and friends. Bring a picnic blanket and make plans to buy dinner al fresco from one of the food trucks or restaurants. Discovery Green is your spot to enjoy Houston this summer.
At 8 pm participants can walk a labyrinth while bathed in sound from many local musicians and healers as part of Make Music Day. As part of this day, we would like to give back to others. Please bring cans of food that will be used to outline the labyrinth path. After the event, the food will be donated to the Houston Food Bank.

Anheuser-Busch Stage
The Anheuser-Busch Stage is a state-of-the-art outdoor concert venue, with audio and lighting systems designed to enhance the unique diversity of Houston’s performing and visual arts, as well as all musical genres. The backdrop of the stage is a magnificent view of Houston’s downtown skyline. The stage faces the Fondren Performance Space, with convenient access from Avenida de las Americas and the George R. Brown Convention Center. The stage can accommodate an oversized movie screen, with projection capabilities for outdoor movies, audio/visual slideshows and presentations, and live feeds.
