8:00 pm
A welcoming environment for skaters with physical or developmental challenges to enjoy the rink. Non-motorized wheelchairs are always allowed on the rink, but Inclusive Skaters Night gives those with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy the ice-skating rink with a smaller crowd and their families right by their side. Best of all – special skaters skate for free! Skate guardians and family members will need to purchase a ticket. Please note: Tickets must be purchased in person.
Note: Ice Rink at Discovery Green is open regularly November 13 – January 18; see hours of operation below:
Monday – Thursday: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Fridays: 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Saturday & HISD School Holidays*: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Ice Rink Events, a Houston-based designer, manufacturer, installer, and operator of ice rinks around the globe, transforms Kinder Lake’s model boat basin into a holiday skating destination each winter season at the park. The expanded rink uses equipment that runs on renewable energy and even the ice rink border is made from recycled plastic materials.
