Kinder High School for the Performing Arts Dance Students perform a dance created especially for Solstice. Guest choreographer, Laura Gutierrez, will work with students to create a new piece responding to the site and the Solstice art installation. Gutierrez is a highly regarded performing artist and choreographer.

Skating Rink
Ice Rink Events, a Houston-based designer, manufacturer, installer, and operator of ice rinks around the globe, transforms Kinder Lake’s model boat basin into a holiday skating destination each winter season at the park. The expanded rink uses equipment that runs on renewable energy and even the ice rink border is made from recycled plastic materials. Open Nov 11, 2022 – Jan 29, 2023.
