Deep in the Heart: A Texas Music Series with David Michael Wyatt with DJ Big Reeks

Spanning Americana, country, Tejano, indie rock, blues, folk and roots music, the series highlights the incredible depth and diversity of Texas musicians while creating a vibrant community gathering in the heart of downtown.

Known as “The Velvet Voice,” David Michael Wyatt is an American recording artist, songwriter, actor, and live performer whose rich vocals and timeless sound have earned him audiences around the world. Wyatt has collaborated with 13-time Grammy Award winner Babyface, toured internationally with acclaimed artist Tobe Nwigwe, and appeared in the hit television series The Chi. Blending soul, R&B, gospel, and contemporary influences, his music is rooted in authenticity, healing, and emotional depth, establishing him as one of today’s most distinctive independent voices.
