Discovery Green Gala on the Green Raises $1.47 million to Support Dynamic Programming Seasons

Discovery Green rolled out the red carpet for the biennial fundraising event, Gala on the Green presented by H-E-B, on Saturday, February 25, 2012. Co-chairs Phoebe and Bobby Tudor hosted more than 500 guests at the elegant black-tie evening on the park grounds. These biennial fundraising events generated approximately $1.47 million – much-needed dollars to support the seasonal programming and operation of Discovery Green, allowing the park to offer hundreds of programs for free to the public every year.
