H-E-B KICKS OFF DISCOVERY GREEN’S SCREEN ON THE GREEN SPRING SERIES WITH THE MOVIE “JULIE AND JULIA” 

H-E-B Movie Night presents “Julie and Julia”, showing Friday, March 19 at 8 p.m. at the Anheuser Busch Stage at Discovery Green

HOUSTON – Kicking off Discovery Green’s Screen on the Green spring movie series, H-E-B is proud to present "Julie and Julia" featuring Meryl Streep's award-winning performance as Julia Child. Free to the public, the movie will screen on the AnheuserBusch Stage on Friday, March 19 at 8 p.m.

Before the show, viewers will enjoy a guest appearance by renowned chef Robert Del Grande as he introduces clips from his PBS interview with Julia Child nearly 20 years ago. President of H-E-B Scott McClelland will be onsite to introduce the PBS interview and the movie.
Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and coolers onto the park grounds.  Park guidelines prohibit glass bottles or containers; alcohol, beer or wine; weapons or firearms; or distribution of literature or materials.

The Conservancy raises all the funds needed for the programming that Houstonians enjoy-and to ensure our park remains an accessible and incomparable public gathering space.
