Free EXTREME Wii! weekly tournaments beginning March 5
Free Concerts on the Green beginning May 7
Try out your gaming skills at Thursdays Rock at Discovery Green – EXTREME Wii! presented by Capital One Bank. The wildly popular Nintendo Wii is a much more than a game and Discovery Green will give Houston fans an opportunity to showcase their Wii talents on the big screen on Thursday nights, beginning March 5.
Discovery Green Conservancy and HPL Express organize the eight-week free competitions in Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock, Mario Kartz, SuperSmash Brothers Brawl and Wii Sports. Hot Hits 95.7 will be on hand entertaining the crowd as they sign up and register beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Discovery Green. The first hour will feature competitors under the age of 18. Weekly winners will earn a chance to compete against each other with prizes for highest score, costume/stage performance and People’s Choice.

As the summer seasons warm up, Concerts on the Green return May 7 through June 25. The family friendly concerts kicks off with Geno Delafose & French Rockin Boogie, the Creole cowboy and Zydeco master. Full schedule available at Discovery Green Entertainment Series.
