Restaurants
The Grove
The Grove, located on the south side of the park across the street from the Hilton Americas Hotel, will be one of the two restaurants serving visitors to Discovery Green.
Ryan Pera is the Executive Chef at The Grove. With his immense experience across a variety of American restaurants, most recently the Alden Hotel's 17, Pera brings his talent to this upscale restaurant in the heart of Houston's Downtown Park. The orginal menu by Pera and famed chef Robert Del Grande will serve up American Rustic cuisine with a focus on rotisserie specialties, steaks and seafood, while the open air bar on the upstairs deck - called the Treehouse - will be the go-to downtown spot for drinks and appetizers.
The Grove hosted a preview party on December 10, 2007. The Grove opens for regular dinner business on January 4, 2008.

The Lake House
The Lake House restaurant will overlook the pond on the north side of the park. The restaurant is a family-friendly fast-casual concept featuring hamburgers, hotdogs, salads, shakes, sodas, wine, and beer.
Schiller Del Grande
When the time came to determine the personalities of the restaurants that would occupy Discovery Green, there was little hesitation as to whom the Discovery Green Conservancy should consult. For more than 25 years, Houstonians have enjoyed the signature, regional flavors and culinary innovations of the Schiller Del Grande Restaurant Group. Locally based and nationally known, this group of restaurateurs was the natural choice.
The Schiller Del Grande Restaurant Group built its culinary reputation at Cafe Annie and the less formal, Bar Annie. The group was a pioneer in the “fast casual” arena with Cafe Express and Taco Milagro. At Discovery Green, the group will create and operate both The Grove and The Lake House.
