How to Get to Discovery Green
Physical address: 1500 McKinney St., Houston, Texas 77010
Discovery Green is centrally-located, just blocks away from Minute Maid Park, Toyota Center, Main Street and The Shops at Houston Center.
The Alkek Building, near the intersection of McKinney and Crawford on the north side of the park, is the location for information, maps and event schedules. Once the park opens in April 2008, park staff can answer questions during regular business hours.
By Transit
Take METRORail to the Main Street Square Station and walk five blocks east on McKinney or Lamar. For bus route information, go to www.ridemetro.org.
By Bicycle
Refer to the City of Houston Bikeway Web site for a safe route into downtown
Discovery Green is between McKinney and Lamar, one block east of Austin at La Branch.

ParkingSeveral parking options, including metered, garage and surface lots, are available for park visitors.
Some street parking is available around the perimeter of the park and nearby streets. Please be sure to always check street signs and read carefully. There are also several nearby surface parking lots, and an underground parking garage that offer easy access to Discovery Green.
Metered Parking
Streets on the park’s perimeter and nearby streets offer metered parking. Parking meter stations on each block accept credit cards and cash. Metered parking is in effect Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Rates vary.
Be sure to pay at near by meter station
DO NOT park in valet zones, or commercial zones (red meters)
