The Changing Faces of Houston
Come early for entertainment beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Activities Include:
- Make your flag! Local artist Rebecca Bass will lead a hands-on workshop to create individualized flags that will be strung around the park throughout the evening.
- Meet and greet community partners including Literacy Advance of Houston and Ensemble Theater.

Featured presentation begins at 7:30 p.m.
Program will include:
- Houston Public Media’s Ernie Manouse and KPRC Local 2’s Khambrel Marshall will emcee the evening’s program.
- Testimonies will be given from iconic Houstonians including Mayor Parker, Hugo Ortega, Jacqueline Martin, Mike Feinberg, Gordon Quan and Archbishop Joseph Fiorenza.
- Dr. Stephen Klineberg will present results of the 31st annual Kinder Houston Area Survey.
- Interactive Q&A session with the audience.
